Afang Soup –
Afang soup is a traditional Nigerian dish celebrated for its rich, leafy texture and earthy flavor. Made from finely shredded afang leaves (wild spinach) combined with waterleaf, assorted meats, dried fish, and crayfish, this vibrant soup is slow-cooked with palm oil and local spices. Native to the Efik and Ibibio people of Southern Nigeria, it’s commonly served with swallows like fufu or pounded yam.
